* We collect and use personal information for candidates for the legitimate interests of our business, which are to recruit for permanent, temporary and contract positions on behalf of our clients, and for ourselves. We only collect personal information for candidates who we find on job boards, who apply directly to us, or who are referred to us by someone else. We consider candidates to be our customers, as we are providing them with a service (finding them jobs which meet their criteria). We will inform candidates by email when we collect their details, after which, we will contact them within a reasonable period of time to further discuss their needs. If candidates are not interested in our services, they can request that we delete their personal information from our systems.
We may share your personal information with third-parties for a variety of reasons, depending on who you are, and your relationship with us. Here is a list of some of the third parties that we typically share information with. It is not an exhaustive list, and we may occasionally need to share personal information with other third parties (e.g. if we need to comply with a legal obligation).
We do not use automated means to make any decisions about you. All of our decisions are made with human involvement. All decisions around determining an individuals suitability for a role in regards to their application, will be made, and determined by an employee of Access Talent.
We use IT service providers who have operations outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). For example, we store candidate information in a cloud-based recruitment database, which is supplied by a U.S. company. As such, some of your personal information may be transferred and stored outside of the EEA.
We have contracts in place with all of our IT service providers, which require them to protect your personal information to the same standards as in the EEA, regardless of where they store it.
We will only keep your information for as long as we need it, after which we will delete it, unless otherwise stated.
In some circumstances, we may need to keep your information for longer than stated above, such as, to comply with our obligations to the tax authorities, or for evidence in an ongoing legal claim.
